The Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
- Today we went to the Bella Concert Hall and we listened to a show called Music from the Movies by the Royal Canadian Artillery. They played songs from Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, E.T., Harry Potter, Moana, The Incredibles and Star Wars.
- In social studies, we learned about some symbols from Peru. We listened and wrote down facts about each one and coloured the flag and coat of arms. Did you know that the chinchona tree bark makes a medicine that cures malaria and fevers.
- After lunch in music, we finished our music project about the instrument families. We also had to write a reflection of what we liked about the field trip today.
