The Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
- In gym, we used the new transverse climbing wall. After the safety rules were explained, we went across the wall first with our hands only. When we had gotten used to the grips on the wall, we tried crossing the wall using our hands and feet.
- In science, we had a listening quiz to see what we learned from our special guest's presentation yesterday. Some people found it easy while others had a harder time with it. We then went over the sheet we did last day and started to read about the three types of rocks. One fact we learned is that basalt and granite are made from magma.
- In Harry Potter, we were asked to answer questions about the game of Quidditch while Ms. Jones read Chapter 10. A troll is loose in the dungeons and is wandering the corridors!
