The Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
  • Today for social studies, we directed our attention to Peru.  We made a suitcase and packed items we would need there as it is hot and humid.  After library, we mapped out where Peru is, which is in South America.  Countries that border it are: Columbia, Brazil and Ecuador.
  • In the morning, we were sorted into our Hogwart's houses.  We were called to a stool and put on a hat.  For each house, one student was chosen as a prefect and they sit at the front of the house row. Ms. Jones and Ms. Cowdy then announced our house.  We have house points to earn if we do a good job of being in line or listening.
  • For our math olympics, we did the luge event as a class.  We had to add, subtract and multiply equations that had an answer of a room number.  We had to map the route on a given school map.
