The Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
- At the end of the day, we had a catch up time to complete our social and science tasks for the week. With social, after we had finished colouring our spanish colours picture, we had to look up some words in Spanish and Quechua. Hola means hello in Spanish.
- During computer lab, we worked on our ninja multiplication skills. If we finished early, we could do kakooma or work on our Greg Tang math spring challenge.
- In math, we divided dividends with a divisor that was determined by the roll of the dice. Using whiteboards and blocks, we would figure out the quotient with a partner. If we got the answer right, we earned points for our houses. Some of the answers had remainders, which was the left over blocks after dividing equal groups.
