What we did today on Fresh Air Friday:
- Today we listened to a story written by Karen Gummo, an artist in residence two years ago. Ms. Jones read us another story about winter. We developed a ideas bank in our journals, where we wrote down the descriptive words and phrases from the stories that we liked. Then we went outside, and using those phrases as examples, we created descriptive observations of the scenery outside. We described the birds flying overhead, the sky and the snow (which we have tonnes of AGAIN!)
- We wrote our spelling tests, and our marks will turn into points for our Hogwart's houses.
