- Calgary Food Bank Food Drive has started. Food donations collection has been extended to Friday. We are currently in first place and want to stay that way!
- Fun Lunch is tomorrow.
- Spelling words for this week have been sent home- quiz this Friday.
What did we do today?
- During journals we discussed the arguments for and against saying yes to the Olympic bid, which we know is a no. Then we finished our opinion on it as well as wrote about our favourite winter Olympic sport.
- In music, we kept practicing for the CBC music challenge. We will be practicing and filming the final video next week.
- Today in math, we played addition games to master our addition skills by creating the greatest sums.
- In social studies, we chose an Alberta park to research and create an informative pamphlet on its location, fun activities and landforms.
- In gym, we started to play mini tennis games using nets, while maintaining control of the tennis ball.
