- It is going to be hot and sunny all week. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather, and send bug repellant, a hat and sunscreen if needed.
Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
- In art, Ryder came and she taught us how the horizon line can be in different places depending on what you want the eye to look at. We also learned how to draw using perspective and how to use charcoal and your eraser as tools.
- Today in daily 5, Ms. Jones read us a book called Stanley's Party. We learned how to slow down the action and to include action, the character's thought/feeling and description in our story events.
- In gym, we did lacrosse. Ms. Jones had us do a drill called scoop, cradle and shoot. We earned points for our houses every time we could score into our nets.
