What We Learned and Did Today:
  • We went to the medicine wheel in Nose Hill Park with Saa'kokoto.  He explained the medicine wheel to us.  The triangles represent man and the c's are the buffalo.  There are two entrances into the wheel to pray and give thanks to Na'a (Mother Earth).  If you go in the morning you enter through the east passageway, if you go in the afternoon, you enter and exit through the west.
  • We came back early due to the cold wind.  He told us two stories.  One story was about an eagle and how the eagle helped him after he saved him from sacrifice.  We learned that if we are generous, people will help you when you are in need.  If you are angry, you should not hurt someone else.
