Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
- In art, we started to work with Ryder, our sketching artist in residence. We all got our own sketching kits and we practiced creating value with a grey scale (light to dark). We also drew pictures and included shading.
- In social, we worked on finishing some previous work and read about the different landscapes in India. Some of the different landscapes are: tropical rainforests, mountains (Gnats and Himalayas), Thar Desert, the Northern Plains and the Deccan Plateau.
- Ms. Jones read the book Ladybird Fly, and then we identified the different parts of the story, including setting, characters and events.
