Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
- To start the day today, we had to look at three books and write down their beginnings. We talked about how to start a story in an interesting manner using: questions/thought/feeling, action, conversation, description, something weird, a sound effect and a problem.
- A number of our classmates went to MRU to a Destination Conservation Celebration. They did a solar energy workshop and made a light that was powered by a solar panel. They also learned about clean water and our school traded an award with another school.
- In music, Mr. O'Reilly taught us how to perform "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Star Wars" on the xylophones.
