June14, 2019- The Trading Post (What will you give me for this musket/ beaver pelt?)

Agenda:

• Read 20 minutes
• Grade 4's letter sent home about upcoming health lessons- they start Monday
• Grade 6 students will be writing PAT exams Monday morning
• Treat Day Wednesday

What we did today:

• After having time to work on our cereal boxes, we played a fur trader game in the class, which took most of the day.  After being split into either trade merchants or First Nations, we rolled dice to see which goods/ animal pelts we would be taking to the trading post.  After trading twice with different groups, we added up our points to see which traders earned the most money/ prestige.
