What we did today:
  • In science, we did a write up about our first car trial, stating how it worked and what we needed to change to make it travel a farther distance.  Then we had time to make those changes as we will be testing the cars again on Thursday.
  • In library, Mrs. Kidd read us a story about a girl who was making the most magnificent thing.  She had many failures, but she did not quit.  When she thought she would never be able to, she went for a walk with her dog, which gave her a new perspective.
  • Ms. Jones read us some of the story Holes. We found out more about the story of Stanley's good for nothing, pig-stealing, great, great grandfather.  Stanley is also working with blistered hands and has more digging ahead of him.
  • During computer lab, some of us finished our stories while the rest of us did Mathletics.
