- Bring headphones (not wireless) to school for tech class. We are not sharing headphones due to lice.
- Fresh Air Friday on Friday
- Whoops! Ms. Jones forgot to put this on the blog (candy brain!). Spelling test this Friday
- Fire plan and class photos sent home today.
What did we do today?
- In science, we watched WALL-E. WALL-E was programmed to compact the garbage left by humans. The humans left Earth because there was so much garbage and no plants.
- In math, we applied our estimation skills doing a pumpkin investigation. After making observations about the pumpkin, we cut it open and took out the seeds and pumpkin guts. Then we chose a referent to use and estimated the number of seeds that were in the pumpkin. We had extra time, so we carved them with faces and put them in the pumpkin patch for the parade.
- During gym, we played a dodgeball game called pumpkin patch. If we got hit by the ball, we went to the other team's pumpkin patch. We were saved if we were able to catch a ball thrown by our teammates.
- This afternoon we had the Halloween parade. Our classmates were dressed as dinosaurs, beanie boos, video game characters monsters and animals.
