What did we do today?
- This morning we had our first spelling test in our word work groups.
- When we were outside, we played nutrient tag. We were either herbivores, carnivores, decomposers or a human. In the first round there were no humans, but in the second round there was. We noticed that more animals and decomposers "died" during the round where humans were in the game because cutting down trees where the herbivores got their nutrients from and they would take away the decomposers needed to put the nutrients back in the game.
- After the game, we picked up garbage that we were finding on the field and playground. We found items such as straws, plastic, gloves, rotten fruit and glass. We will be sorting these items next week to determine if there are any patterns to the littering.
