  • Mark your calendars: Picture day October 17, 2018
What did we do today?
  • In gym we played a game called Rainforest where we had to dribble around "trees" (cones) while paying attention to Ms. Jones for directions.  If we hit a tree, we had to do 6 top taps before dribbling again.
  • In social studies, we watched a video about the six different regions of Alberta.  Then we had to colour the regions on a map of Alberta.  The regions are: Parkland, Boreal Forest, Rocky Mountains, Canadian Shield, the Foothills and Grasslands.
  • This afternoon in music, we had more time to work on our posters/ slides about a musical instrument.
  • We were read a book about Terry Fox to help us with ideas for our What makes him a hero journal.  We had time to write that this afternoon and we will have one more period to finish it tomorrow.
