Agenda:
Read 30 min
Homework: math mystery case #11 due Thursday; supplies for instruments
No school Fri

What did we do today?
  • At the start of the day in math, we did Multiplication Ninja Monday activities and Ms. Jones showed us how to solve this week's Math Mystery.  There are three steps to the problem, so this week's will be marked out of 5.
  • For gym, we played mini-basketball games.  The gym was separated into two courts.  We could only dribble three times before passing to someone else or taking a shot at the net.
  • After recess, we started to build our instruments in science.
  • In health, we played Whoosh, Pow, Bang.  Then Ms. Jones read us more from our Read Aloud story.
  • In language arts, Ms. Cowdy talked to us about how we can start our sentences better. We can flip the sentence around or we could use different sentence starters.  We have activities we need to complete for our Work on Writing.
  • During Daily 5, some of us had guided reading while the rest of us worked on a daily 5 activity.  We need to have three done by the end of the week.
  • At the end of the day in art, we made the first picture for our Alberta timeline.  It is from 300-400 million years ago when there was nothing but water and simple animal and plant life.

Questions:
1. Will Ms. Jones' blue guided reading group perform their play to the class?
2. Will Marty and Remi find the Night Watchman on Main Street?
