What did we do today?
  • First thing this morning, there was an assembly about Evergreen Theatre and they chose some volunteers to act as animals and other given ideas.
  • In gym, we played two basketball games outside that help us practice our shooting skills.  They were called HORSE and Around the World.  With Around the World, you had to shoot the basketball from certain marked numbers from 1-6.
  • In math, we got our new math mystery case and we went over three important words for this week's problem.  They were sum, product and multiple.  After that, we continued our work from Thursday.
  • Today was our first day with Evergreen Theatre! We played a couple of games and brainstormed ideas.  We also created short raps about waste.
  • In language arts, Ms. Jones read us part of a book called Punctuation Celebration.  Then we got to do an activity where we had to find the incorrect punctuation and correct it.
  • In Daily 5, some of us had guided reading while the rest of us worked on a daily 5 activity.  We need to have three done by the end of the week.
  • At the end of the day in social studies, we had to finish our fossil observations.  If we finished that and had it checked by a teacher, we could decorate the cover of our field journals.

Ran out of time today.
