What did we learn?

  • On Monday we had art and we made a good copy of the mountain landscape we did last week.  Some people were not here, so we watched the video again.  Most of us finished and they all look awesome.  We used watercolour paints.
  • Yesterday in math, the grade 4's learned a new game called Remainder Race.  You had to spin a spinner and whoever had the highest number would have to divide it by 19.  If you got a remainder you moved the number of the remainder on the game board.  If you didn't get a remainder you didn't move.
  • For Science we did an experiment were we tested arches.  We made a curved and square arch out of paper and we also used a plastic cup and plasticine to hold it together.
  • Karen Gummo came to us to do language arts.  We shared stories in a sharing circle after she told us about "The Curious Girl".  Tomorrow is our last day with her.
