The Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
  • Today during buddies, it was the 100th day of school, so they had created projects.  Some of the projects included crayons, Lego, marshmallows, stickers and googly eyes.
  • In music, we had some sharing and after that Mr. O'Reilly went over the rules and etiquette of attending an orchestra.  We also coloured a number of instruments from the four families of instruments.  Tomorrow Mrs. Polski will lead us as we cut them out and trade so that we have an instrument from each family.
  • At the end of the day in science, we learned studied rocks like geologists!  Using properties and a rock sample, we had to test the rocks for colour, lustre, hardness and what it would do in vinegar.  We identified granite and there is a mystery one that we need to look up.
