Top Three Things We Learned Today
- In math, we started estimating differences for given subtraction questions. One method we used was to round the number to the nearest ten/hundred.
- This afternoon in science, most of us finished our focus bird facts. We also had to journal about what we learned from the games we played last Friday. We learned that pine martins have to be sneaky to steal bird eggs.
- We had our first Coffin Cares assembly. We learned that we will be recognized at these assemblies if we show respect for ourselves, each other and the environment. We also learned that we should be putting one use snack wrappers in the proper containers.
- Extra: Mrs. Kidd had a draw for the Scholastic Book Fair posters.
We need to work on our subtraction skills, especially with borrowing and regrouping.
