Top Three Things We Learned Today
- We had a very special visitor today! Sheryl from Teacher's Pet came to our class this morning to show us artifacts and to teach us about life in Tunisia. We learned that the kids there have similar interests, such as playing with toys and games, but have different resources and materials that they toys are made from.
- We learned that the olive tree is important to Tunisia as it provides food, cooking oil and wood to make their exports from. The camel is special to them as they use them as a source for wool, milk, food and transportation. We played a trivia board game where our pieces were camels.
- We made mosiacs and we also got to buy imports and exports using 20 dinar bills. Buying fuel was the most expensive purchase!
- We also had a visit from Saakokoto this afternoon. It was a great day to learn from experts!
What do we need to do next?
We will need to finish our journals about what we learned today about Tunisia. Ask me about some of the things I learned.
