What did we do today?
  • First thing this morning we practiced our ninja skills until gym.  After switching our table groups and recess, Ms. Jones introduced us to our math case.  We have to CUBES the problem, solve it, show our work and write a sentence answer to get full marks.
  • Since the gymnastic equipment will not be put up this week, we played a game of dodgeball in gym.
  • For health, Mrs. Wilkens taught us a new Unthinkable called Grump Grumpaniny.  We watched a video, which was a clip from the Big Bang Theory where Sheldon needs to stay in his routine.  Then we went and wrote about when we have been a Grump Grumpaniny.
  • We had our first drumming session today playing the djembe.  We learned lots of different rhythms as well as the A,a,B, b and c notes. We also learned how to hold the drum and hand positions to make each note.
  • In Daily 5, Ms. Jones worked with two different reading groups while we worked on finishing our Daily 5 tasks for this week.
  • At the end of the day in art, some of us finished our illusion art project.  If we did finish, we were tasked with drawing Nose Hill Park and estimate how many trees are in the park.
Questions:
1. What will we be doing tomorrow for gym?
2. How many trees are there in Nose Hill Park?
