What did we learn today?
- In gym we did basketball we practiced the V dribble, the around the world and pivoting. At the end we played shark.
- In social studies, we watched all the Boomtown Busters videos. We created a timeline of all the big events like the Great Calgary Fire and the Olympics.
- Instead of doing the daily warm up in the new year, we are doing printing practice and cursive writing. So far we have done a and d. They look a lot different than printing.
- This week we have been talking and writing about an event that happened during our Winter Break. Ms. Jones wants us to focus on transition words instead of using "then."
