What did we do this week?
- Yesterday in social studies we went into groups of 4 to come up with ways the community of Brentwood could be better. Everybody got a job. There was surveyor, artist, group manager and recorder.
- Today in science, we went outside and looked for something that reflected. Then we went back inside and brainstormed a list. Once our list was determined we went outside and tested them to see if they actually reflected.
- In health we learned about the brain. There are five parts of the brain. They are called the prefrontal cortex, cerebrum, hippocampus, amygdala and the cerebellum.
- In math this week we had to do the guess and check strategy to solve given word problems. Then we would go to the carpet and check our answers.
