What did we do today?
- After our brain stretch question, we talked about the cardinal directions and some of the landmarks we see in the school. We then became cartographers, and in small groups we came up with names for the different paths and landmarks in the Whispering Woods.
- As a large group, we voted on a couple of names. The main path into the woods from the natureground is called Beavertail Road. The one shaped like a "C" that runs south of the Whispering Woods is called The Big C.
- We played hog call in the Whispering Woods again and were able to be a couple of animals.
- Will we be going to Nose Hill on Fresh Air Fridays? -Yes we will.
- Why didn't we go to Barrett Park today?- We ran out of time.
- When will our book orders come in? - Hopefully two weeks.
- Will we have a listening walk at Barrett Park and Nose Hill Park?- Barrett Park for sure.
- How many students will go and see Beakerhead around Calgary this weekend?
- Will we play hog call again next week?- Probably not.
- What will we do on Monday?-TBD
- How many times will we go to Nose Hill this year?- TBD
