June 10, 2019- We want an ice cream party...bring your books back!!

Agenda:

• Read 20 minutes
• Bring library books back to school tomorrow- first class that does so receives an ice cream party June 20
• Bring any extra supplies you might need to improve your vehicle for science tomorrow
• Wednesday, June 12, 2019 – 3:30 pm to 5 pm – Sun Circle Kick-Off Event.  The School Council’s Environment Committee will be hosting a variety of activities in the natural spaces surrounding Dr. Coffin School.  Treats and activities such as a scavenger hunt, orienteering, and planting your own seeds from home will occur. 
• Grade 6 students will be writing PAT exams this week first thing in the morning, please try to be on time.

What we did today:

• We played kickball today outside.  We went from 3 outs to a one out before the teams switched places on the field.
• In Daily 5, most of us worked on our cereal box book reports, which has a summary, rating and "ingredients".  Other groups had guided reading or they had time to finish their stories.
• In language arts, Ms. Jones read us some of the story Holes. The main character Stanley now has a bed in Tent D and has met his roommates, that all have strange nicknames.
• During computer lab, Ms. Cowdy tested us on our timed basic facts.
