Literacy Night October 16th from 5-7pm. Please make time to pop by and see what we do during Daily Five and literacy.
What did we do this week?
- In science we did a pupil test called the pupillary response test. We turned off the lights and then turned them on to see if our eyes got bigger or not (ask us how it worked out!) . Then we would write it down and complete a conclusion.
- We had a special visitor Thursday! Saakokoto told us some stories about his past and showed us a picture of a golden eagle and he had a special brace on his arm so its claws would not hurt him. He said it would not hurt him and it would not fly away because of trust!
- In music we practiced for the CBC Music Challenge. In our class there are two guitarists, one pianist, and lots of percussion and xylophone players. People also sing and do magic tricks and dance with mr. O'Reilly.
- Because of our special visitor, we played dodgeball with room 5. We played a game that if you got hit you got to play on the other side.
