The Top Three Things We Learned and Did Today:
- In math, we did the ice hockey challenge as a double class. Against a partner, we answered addition, subtraction and multiplication questions. We were then awarded "medals" if we got a certain number correct.
- In Daily 5, we had some catch up time to finish our visualizer and connector activities to our fantasy novels. If we finished early we got to go on Raz Kids.
- This afternoon, the Destination Conservation group had a presentation from a special visitor about how our practice of using plastics is effecting our environment, especially in the oceans. Those who stayed in class learned a new math game called Clip the Multiples, where we got cards with numbers on them. We had to decide whether they were multiples of a given number and mark them.
